This September Carmichael's Community Book Club will read The Crane Wife by Patrick Ness. Meeting Tuesday Sept. 23, 2014 A magical novel, based on a Japanese folk tale, that imagines how the life of a broken-hearted man is transformed when he rescues an injured white crane that has landed in his backyard. Our club has over 20 members and we are growing daily! Come for one book or join us for all of our meetings. We provide a venue, a facilitated book discussion and refreshments.
