Partnering With Your Community:

Learn how civic and charity engagement can boost your business and enrich your life.

at the Louisville Water Tower

We’ll begin the event with a panel discussion from leaders in the non profit industry who will be discussing the idea that "what’s good for the local area is good for everyone" - including your business. There are many advantages to be gained in an authentic relationship with a non profit, and it can help both parties.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Jacque Saltsman and will include the following speakers:

Micah Jorrisch (Family & Children's Place)
Holly Prather (Leadership Louisville)
Sarah Stalker (Center for Non Profit Excellence)
Nicole Yates (City of Louisville Boards & Commissions)

Following our panel discussion, you’ll have the opportunity to visit with 14 nonprofits (who are also your fellow LIBA members) in a business fair setting. A great opportunity to apply your "learnings" right away!

The Nonprofits that will be joining us are:

Beaded Treasures Project
Better Business Bureau
Center For Neighborhoods
Dare to Care Food Bank
ElderServe, Inc.
Family and Children's Place
FEAT of Louisville
Fed with Faith
Harbor House
Healthy 4 Louisville
Kentucky Humane Society
Louisville Story Program
Louisville Visual Art
Yoga East

This is also a great way to start thinking about Give Local Day, taking place on September 14.

Breakfast goodies and refreshments will be provided by
Heitzman Bakery & Deli
