Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

This 8-week course is being used in more than 200 medical centers and universities across the world.

Created and popularized by Jon Kabat-Zinn, MBSR teaches several practices and concepts that aid the individual in dealing with life’s complexities. Recognizing that most stress comes from ruminations about the past or anxieties about the future, the focus here is in anchoring one’s attention in the present moment, just as it is, without judgment.

It has proven valuable in the ongoing care of anxiety, depression, chronic stress, illness, and pain, as well as maintenance of addiction recovery, and overall improved self-efficacy and life improvement in a variety of individuals.

Course materials are included with the registration fee.

Sundays, Starting July 13th through August 27th, 6:00p – 8:30p

with one extra full day (9:00a – 4:30p) on August 16th
