Standard Business Membership

($150/Year)

This was our only level of membership for many years and it continues to have all the perks it always has, including listings in our directories, materials for your business and invitations to our events. For a full list of member benefits, download our Benefits Sheet.

Business Members must be able to answer YES to to questions 1-4 and NO to question 5:

Is your primary place of business located in the Louisville area with no corporate or national head-quarters outside this area? (Primary means that more than 50% of all income generated by the business is in the Louisville area. The Louisville area is defined as the following counties: Jefferson, Bullitt, Henry, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Spencer, Shelby and Trimble in Kentucky, and Clark, Floyd, Harrison, and Washington counties in Indiana).
Are you owned in majority (greater than 51%) by Louisville-area residents?
Is your business either privately held or a non-profit? (ie. not publicly traded)
Can your business make independent decisions regarding the name and look of your business, as well as all business purchasing, practices and distribution?
Is your business a franchise, or do you use a national brand as your identity?

If you don’t meet these qualifications, you could still be eligible to be a Supporter. Please contact us to find out more.

After your business is approved, you will be allowed to add contacts to your member account.

Partner Business Membership

Partner Members have taken the next step in supporting local businesses by growing their involvement in LIBA.

Partner Members get extra membership benefits, and as the name implies, a custom partnership with LIBA that will help both the member and LIBA further our mutual goals.

Download a listing of the 'usual' benefits of becoming a LIBA Partner Member. But keep in mind that partnerships are easily customized to fit the needs of your company. Email Jennifer or call 502-473-4687 to discuss the possibilities.

All partner memberships include your logo printed by your listings and recognition in our "special thanks" ad in our Buy Local Guides, recognition as a Partner Member throughout our website and on signage at all of our events, the option to include an item in our new member welcome packets, recognition in our enewsletters, etc.

Individuals who are not business owners can still support LIBA's efforts with an individual membership.

By joining as an individual supporter, you'll receive a "Buy Local" sticker, and we'll keep you updated through our newsletters about what's happening with the organization and how you can be involved.

By joining as an individual member, you have embraced what makes Louisville unique, supported locally-owned businesses, and ensured that your dollars will be kept circulating in the local economy.

Renewal fees of $150 per year are automatically renewed (although you can cancel at any time). You will be able to set this up online via credit card or call the LIBA office at 502-473-4687 to complete. Up to 10 people at your company can also be added as contacts to your "bundle."

Individual Membership - $10.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited This membership level is for any individual that supports independent, locally-owned businesses. It does not include benefits that business members receive.

Key Investor Membership ($1150/yr. or $100/mo.) - $1,150.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 20 members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments This is a partner membership in LIBA. You have the option of a $1,150 annual payment via the method of your choice, or $100 monthly payments from your bank account. Up to 20 people at your company can also be added as contacts to your "bundle."

Non-Profit Membership ($75/yr. or $6.50/mo.) - $75.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 10 members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments This membership level is for non-profit, locally-owned, independent businesses. You have the option of a $75 annual payment via the method of your choice, or $6.50 monthly payments from your bank account. Up to 10 people at your company can also be added as contacts to your "bundle."

Non-Profit Membership (Annual auto-renew via credit card) - $75.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 10 members) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal (recurring payments) This membership level is for locally-owned, independent businesses. Renewal fees of $75 per year are automatically renewed (although you can cancel at any time). Patron Membership ($3500/yr. or $300/mo.) - $3,500.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 25 members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments This is a partner membership in LIBA. Up to 25 people at your company can also be added as contacts to your "bundle."

Shareholder Membership ($500/yr. or $44/mo.) - $500.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 15 members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments This is a partner membership in LIBA. Trustee Membership (2 available, $5800/yr. or $500/mo.) - $5,800.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 30 members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments This is a partner membership in LIBA. You have the option of a $5800 annual payment via the method of your choice, or $500 monthly payments from your bank account.
