Explore how blindness is depicted by Hollywood. The summer event screens films featuring an important character who is blind, followed by discussion. The final movie in the series is Ray (2004), an account of the life and career of the legendary rhythm and blues musician Ray Charles. Jamie Foxx received the Academy Award for his performance; the film was also Oscar-nominated for best picture, director, sound, editing, and costume design. Rated PG13.
