To celebrate the company's recent expansion and focus on green initiatives, Parker & Klein invites the local community to an open house and free shredding event at their new location on Thursday, April 23rd from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Guests can bring paper to the shredding truck for free document disposal, enjoy refreshments, and get tips on green features for the home and sustainable business practices. As part of Mayor Fischer's Give A Day Week of Service, used shoes will be collected and donated to WaterStep, a local nonprofit that funds safe water projects around the world.

Parker & Klein Real Estate, a female owned company that was established in 2007, is working to become a more paperless environment and specialize in green initiatives by having all agents in the office obtain the National Association of Realtors' GREEN designations by 2016.

The company was established in 2007 with a mission to deliver care and respect for their clients and to achieve results beyond the ordinary while maintaining a personal and professional balance in life. It is owned by Brokers Ashley Parker and Jacqueline Klein, who have over 30 years of combined experience in the business and are joined by five other experienced agents and two staff members.
