Hop on any ZeroBus for a FREE ride to the 50+ unique boutiques, artists, and
restaurants along the Republic Bank First Friday Hop route
on Friday, November 6th, from 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
The November Republic Bank First Friday Hop includes a “Day of the Dead”
celebration along South Fourth Street in Downtown Louisville between the
Seelbach and Hilton Garden Inn Hotels. Additional event details below.

REPUBLIC BANK FIRST FRIDAY HOP EVENT:
South 4th Street’s
third annual Dia de Los Muertos celebration!
When: Friday,
November 6th, 2015, 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Where: 500-600 South 4th St, Louisville, KY 40202
Celebrate the Latin
American culture and holiday of the Day of the Dead with authentic live music,
fire performers, flamenco and folkloric dancing, sugar skull and tissue flower
workshops, face painting, and public altar. Guests are encouraged to wear
costumes so come dressed as your favorite Frida Kahlo or skeleton!
South 4th Street retailers will have Day of the Dead art openings and
merchandise for sale. La Cocina de Mama will have Mexican food, beer, wine
and margarita offerings for sale for festival attendees.
Very close parking is
available via street parking on Chestnut St between 3rd and 5th Streets
(free after 6 PM), and close paid parking is available at the Clay Commons
Garage (324 West Chestnut St) and the Seelbach
Garage (tunnel entrance at Muhammad Ali Boulevard between 4th and 5th Streets).

Party Handmade Boutique will host a reception for their annual Day of the Dead
exhibition. The exhibition will feature artist Karen Abney as well as artists
April Boyd and Kayla Allinger. The exhibition will run through mid
November.

explored the themes of life and death before and express through a variety of

The Republic
Bank First Friday Hop event is Friday, November 6th, 2015 and
includes downtown art galleries, retailers, and restaurants that will be open
extended hours with specials/discounts and refreshments.
