Zack McKay, Director of NIL Services & Engagement at the University of Louisville, along with Sean Kelly and Cheyna Smith of INFLCR will be discussing the basics on NIL deals, how the Cards NIL Exchange works and the benefits to both the student-athletes and the businesses they represent. This program is surprisingly attainable even for businesses with small marketing budgets.
As of July 1, 2021, student-athletes competing in NCAA intercollegiate athletics are permitted to receive compensation for the use of their name, image, or likeness (NIL) for commercial activities, including endorsements through traditional and social media, appearances, entrepreneurial activities, in-kind deals, autographs and more, in accordance with NCAA guidelines and University of Louisville NIL protocols.
