LIBA is proud to present a new event series this year, ElevateBiz Speaker Series: Empowering Independent Entrepreneurs, presented by The Louisville Water Company.

FEATURED SPEAKER:  TAWANA BAIN

Tawana Bain embodies the epitome of leadership and innovation, serving as the CEO of American Clean Resources Group, Inc. and partner in Today’s Woman, a regional magazine that fosters sisterhood and empowers women. Spanning a career of over two decades, with expertise in outsourcing, marketing, and CSR, she advises TBAIN & Co, LLC, overseeing Today’s Woman, empowering women, Black Jockeys Lounge’s cultural space in Louisville, Diversity Week at the Kentucky Derby, and Todays Voice’s premium products. Tawana’s leadership garnered recognition in LA Times, Forbes, earning Fleur De Lis Award and NMSDC’s Supplier of the Year. Academically accomplished with a bachelor’s from Brockport State, she treasures family, being a proud mother and grandmother. Hear from Tawana on Wednesday, November 13 at the Louisville Water Tower  (3005 River Rd.) from 12:00n until 1:30pm. The cost for LIBA members and their guests is $15 and for non-members is $30.  Admission includes a box lunch.  Soft drinks and water will be provided.

Box lunches will be provided by Bristol Catering and include a sandwich option (see below), pasta salad, chips and a cookie.  Registration closes at 12 noon on Friday, 11/8. Space is limited - reserve your spot now!
