On Sunday, November 24th at 4 PM (at our Frankfort Ave store), Carmichael's is pleased to welcome two local poets for a reading of their works. Sonja deVries will read from and sign her new collection of poems "Stealing Lorca's Bones." Adriena Dame will also read from her poetry. Dame is the author of "The MOO: Stories and a Novella;" her poems have been featured in a variety of journals and magazines. She is an activist who works for positive social change and sits on the board of the Kentucky Foundation for Women. Please join us!
