Marketing On A Mom & Pop Budget
Being a small, independent business has its own set of challenges when it comes to marketing. Principles that the 'big guys' and chains use don't always apply. But being small and independent has its special advantages too! Attend this education and networking event (with complimentary lunch and doorprizes) that will feature a special guest who has worked with independents across the country:
Joe Grafton
is the Director of Development and Community Engagement at the
American Independent Business Alliance
(with whom LIBA is affiliated). Joe has spent the last decade of his life working in and with small businesses and entrepreneurs. He has spent time as a social media consultant with years of experience in the evolving landscape of marketing for small businesses and community based initiatives. Joe also brings expertise on promoting the local and independent message, creating a strong following of customers who value a businesses place in the community and the power of cooperative marketing among like-minded businesses.
Agenda:
11:30am – Box lunches for registrants (no charge)
11:35am – Joe Grafton: Marketing On A Mom & Pop Budget
12:10pm – Brief Presentations from Louisville Magazine and 5 other LIBA members
12:45pm-1:10pm – Business fair and networking. Louisville Magazine and other presenters will have a tabletop available
1:10pm - Door prizes are given out
Registration Deadline is Wednesday, March 19.
